Cloudwords
Overview
Cloudwords was built to manage complex workflows using machine translation with multiple human reviewers from around the world. Advertising campaigns for global companies, like Microsoft, generally roll-out internationally on strict deadlines. They must be in the correct language, consider the local dialect, be culturally sensitive, and stay consistent with the source messaging.

The Challenge
Line-by-line review separated the text from it's visual context. Display the content as it appears in various editing platforms, with dynamic editing that's still tied to the table of translated phrases.
The Solution
Building from a robust line-by-line text only view for language translation, integrate the real-time visual element and keep everything in sync. Edit the visual and see the change in the text anyhwere it appears on the screen in source and translation. Line-by-line review with a visual reference on screen, dynamic tooltip suggestions, revision history, and designed to scale for future features.
The Result
In-context review streamlined translation workflows, which meant less touchpoints, and reduced errors by 35%.
